Landrieu plans to sell projects in Everglades, Orlando

Mitch Landrieu, the White Dwelling infrastructure coordinator, programs a two-day Florida check out to promote infrastructure projects in the Everglades and in Orlando.

In South Florida on Thursday, Landrieu and U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Weston, will spotlight $1.5 billion in federal expending on Everglades restoration. Most of the funding, $1.1 billion, is coming from the Bipartisan Infrastructure law.

They will get an airboat tour to see job enhancements.

In Orlando on Friday, Landrieu will surface with Mayor Buddy Dyer and condition Sen. Victor Torres, D-Kissimmee, at Orlando Global Airport to tout funding of transportation tasks.

The White Property designs to use the Orlando party to tout income heading toward airport advancements and an Orlando-to-Tampa rail job.

Democrats, having difficulties with the potential clients of a complicated midterm election, have been searching for to spotlight achievements from their time controlling Congress and the White Residence.

Landrieu, is a previous mayor of New Orleans, jump started off the city’s restoration from Hurricane Katrina when he took business office. He is also a former Louisiana lieutenant governor.
